Noida: Miffed with the state of pothole-ridden road, the residents of Sector 168, Noida on Thursday raised the issue on Twitter. They raised the issue of bad road in front of Paras Seasons in Sector 168.
Residents shared a tweet with caption, “Ye haal hai @Sector168Noida ka..kaise karengey hum @PMOIndia @myogioffice @myogiadityanath ki smart City ka sapna pura..pichle 8 mahino se request pe request kar rahey @noida_authority ko par kuch badla hai to road ki buri stithi aur buri ho gai @CPCB_OFFICIAL @CeoNoida pls help. Residents alleged that the approximate patch of 50 meters is in very bad condition and it is very difficult for people to commute through it. They also shared that the people on a two-wheeler got unbalanced and fell during the night.

Vasundhara Nigam, a resident of Paras Seasons shared, “From the last six years, the condition of the road is same. We tweeted many times but no one has listened to us. We did a complaint in Noida Authority too. Last year, potholes were filled with mud but after rain, the whole scenario was the same. We also filed a complaint in Jansuvidha Kendra but there was no execution.”
“As a group, we did a complaint in Noida Authority many times but there is no response from their sides. We also filed a complaint in Jansuvidha Kendra but we don’t know what’s going on in back end. Residents are facing problems but most of the time people face difficulties during night. We are waiting for the last six years and do not know how much time the authority will take,” she said.
There are many residents who have been actively voicing their concerns about the bad roads. Piyush, Ganesh, Puneet and Mohan Singh Negi are among the residents who are raising this issues for long. CitySpidey talked to them to know about their concerns.
They shared that the road situation has been degrading day-by-day and it further deteriorated during the monsoon. They have made several requests but nothing has been done till now.
According to them, only temporary solutions and repairs were done on previous complaints and now, the situation has become so bad that there is a constant fear of accident or any other mishap.
They said that this delay in repairing of the internal roads of Sector 168 isn’t a big task and it will take just a little effort to solve this problem.
