Gurugram: Various RWA representatives of new sectors along the Dwarka Expressway have met the Pataudi MLA SP Jrawta on Monday at HSIIDC auditorium in Manesar and raised several pending civic issues pertaining to the area.

Janata Darbar was organised by the Pataudi MLA to redress the problems of his constituency assembly. The meeting was also joined by SDM Gurugram Ankita Chaudhary, SDM Pataudi Pradeep, Joint Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Manesar Hariom Atri, DTP (Enforcement) RS Batth, among other officials of various departments.

As many as 140 complaints pertaining to lack of sanitation, road maintenance, sewerage problem, dysfunctional streetlights, erratic power supply, drinking water problem, upkeep of greenbelts, women safety, road safety etc. were put forth during the meetings.

“For the last four years, there is no proper approach road to our society and when it rains it feels like we are living on an island,” Suresh Yadav, a resident of Sector 83.

“Even after the new Municipal Corporation has formed no change can be witnessed on the ground. Conditions of roads are pathetic with no sewerage and drainage network,” said Atul Sharma, a resident of Sector 82.

Taking note of all the problems, MLA Jrawta assured the residents that a timely resolution will be provided. To solve all these problems, the deadline was set to October 4 by the MLA.
