Noida: A resident of Lotus Boulevard, a residential society in Sector 100, Noida was thrashed by the guards of the society.
After the incident, Guard Krishnakant Shukla and security in-charge Amlesh Rai have been taken into custody. The victim has been taken to a hospital by the police.
The police said that necessary legal action is being taken. According to the residents, this is not something new, earlier also similar incidents have taken place inside the society.
The incident took place on Wednesday at around 1.30 pm. After the incident escalated, the police were informed by the residents and an FIR was registered.
“The incident took place in tower 18. The resident went to the guard for raising some internal issues. The resident was alone, later, some 10-12 guards thrashed the resident.
Later in the day, The Police Commissioner of Gautam Budh Nagar tweeted a video speaking about the incident related to this matter. He said, "The Video clearly showcases that the resident of Lotus Boulevard was threatened by the security guards of the society. Our Police forces have immediately taken action on it. In this case, 08 guards including the in-charge have been taken into custody. Identification is being done based on the footage".
