Dwarka: SHD celebrates Grand Parents Day with Manipal Hospital

Dwarka: Seniors Hub Dwarka celebrated Grand Parents Day on Thursday in association with Manipal Hospital, Dwarka. The program began with the welcome address by RK Jain, President of Seniors Hub, quickly followed by a very enlightening talk by Dr Rajiv Verma, Head, Joint Replacement and Orthopaedics, Manipal Hospital on joint pain management in senior citizens.

Next was yoga teachings by gold medalist yoga trainer Krishan Kumar, in which all senior citizens participated very enthusiastically. Ravi Jaitley, General Secretary of SHD thanked Manipal Hospital for providing organisational support and more than 25 participants for making the Grand Parents Day Celebration so grand and special.

The program came to an end with Rituparna, Marketing Manager of Manipal Hospital thanking the seniors for their time and support and inviting them for a very healthy and sumptuous breakfast.

Ravi Jaitley, General Secretary of Seniors Hub Dwarka said, “We never heard about these days during our younger days and if there were any, we thought of these as luxury. But now, we look for such occasion where we can pull out our members for a short get-together - which they are eagerly looking forward to especially during today's scenario of Covid.”
