Greater Noida: Two incidents of water sprinkler burst happened in Aishwaryam Society, Gaur City 2, Greater Noida West on two consecutive days in towers A and B on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On September 7, the first incident happened in tower A, the residents of the society shared, “16 सितंबर के फायर ऑडिट से बचने के लिए आनन- फानन में किए गए उपायों से कई फ्लैटों में बाढ़ सी स्थिति l फ्लैट मालिकों का लाखों का नुक़सान l निवासियों में आक्रोश l जिम्मेदार कौन ?बिल्डर 3 साल से सो रहा था lपता नहीं NOC कैसे मिल जाता है?"

On September 8, another incident happened in tower B, residents raised their voice on Twitter and shared, “यही हाल सभी चीजों का है l Infrastructure, Road, Parking, STP, WTP, Rainwater harvesting, etc. @noidapolice @dmgbnagar @myogiadityanath @city_spidey @nefowaoffice.”

Residents alleged that the builder acquired the NOC by fraud as there is no proper fire safety equipment in all the towers. Hose pipes are not sufficiently long. There are no fire alarm safety systems in society. Around 350 residents live in the society and this negligence puts their safety at risk.
Arnimesh Kumar, AOA President shared, “Apartments don't have functioning sprinklers. There is no connection of hosepipe to the flats. The builder did not check the water flow through the hose pipes. Due to the fire audit on September 16, they were afraid and checked all the fire systems. Now the truth is in front of all of us.”
Deep Gupta, a resident of tower A said, “This incident happened on September 7 in the morning. The fire safety audit will be on September 16 in the society. Due to this, the maintenance team tried to check their fire safety equipment. During this, the sprinkler burst in my flat and damaged everything.”
Puneet Batra, a resident of tower B said, “This incident happened yesterday. I lived in the society for more than three years. In those years, they never checked their fire safety system. On September 16, the fire safety audit will happen and they start testing their safety system for the first time. Now the truth is in front of all of us.”
