Dwarka: The residents of sectors 22 and 23 are facing many problems due to damaged roads for a very long time. In particular, the road stretch in front of Vishwas Apartments which connects the main market of Sector 23 is in very bad shape.
There are many societies in Sector 23 including Vishwas Apartments, Airlines Apartments and Greentown Apartments. The residents of these apartments shared their concerns about the bad state of roads and requested the authority to take the required action.
These potholes are so big that the wheels of cars or bikes can fit into them causing odd situations. As said by the people, these potholes have been there for about a month and they have worsened after rain.
CitySpidey talked to a resident Sukhnaib Singh to know his concerns, he said, “The issue of bad roads has been reported through multiple channels and platforms and authorities don't pay attention to it.”
Raj Malik, a resident of Arline Apartments in Sector 23 said, “Internal roads are really in bad shape, the whole road is full of potholes. The road which passes from the middle of the sector towards sectors 22 and 23 also has dark spots and stretches. Authorities need to look into the matter.”
Dinesh Thakur, a resident of Sector 22 said, “From Sector 22 towards Sector 23 roads and further going towards Gurgaon, I found more than 20 potholes. Such potholes can be dangerous for commuters. The authority must repair these potholes on an urgent basis.”
