Gurugram: Health camps organised in sectors along Dwarka Expressway

Gurugram: With an aim to provide maternal and child health care, Rotary Club of New Gurgaon in collaboration with Miracles Apollo Cradle and Spectra Hospital organised health camps in the newly developed sectors along the Dwarka Expressway.

Two such camps which included a free pediatric health check-up at Lavanya Apartments, Sector 81 and an awareness session on Cervical Cancer at Vatika Seven Lamps were organised on Sunday.

Mamta Yadav, President, Seven Lamps RWA said, "It was a great session and the free consultation by the gynecologist was really helpful. This kind of initiative is really helpful and I appreciate Rotary Club's efforts of bringing health care awareness to every society."

Vipin Jain, Joint Secretary, Lavanya RWA said, "The residents, especially young parents with young children, benefited from the camp organised on Sunday. The specialist not only gave free consultation but also reviewed the vaccination history of each child in detail."

Club President Rotarian Reena Mathur expressed her gratitude towards Dr Veenu Agarwal, Dr Raktima Chakrabarti and the team of Miracles Healthcare for conducting 2 successful camps.

The health camps were successfully organised by the team of Rotarians including Shibasish Rudra, Sharad Kumar, Mayank Verma, Rajat Mathur, Vivek Prakash among others.
