Dinesh Nayar, a resident of Sidhartha Kunj Apartments said, “This issue has been raised so many times and authorities don't pay any attention.”

Besides, the drains on the footpath can be been left open, making it difficult and dangerous for pedestrians to walk over.

Anil Nayal, Executive Member of Dwarka Forum, said, “It is so dangerous for residents and commuters in evenings and authorities should take immediate action.”

They are constantly under threat of diseases such as malaria, dengue, skin infection and many others.

Sonal Chauhan, a resident of Sector 7 said, “With most drains not being cleaned for a month or more now, most of these channels are full of silt and garbage too. It can bring lots of vector-borne diseases.
