Hindi Diwas celebrated with enthusiasm at govt school in Dwarka

Dwarka: Hindi Diwas was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Government Senior Secondary School in Sector 23, Dwarka. Apart from the Hindi Diwas celebrations, an event was also organised to inform children about the ways to take precautions against Covid-19 and vector-borne diseases.

Inspector of the Public Health Department, South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) Rohtash and his team were present to aware the children regarding the symptoms of Covid and dengue. They also talked about correct ways to use mosquito repellent. Fogging was done in the whole school premises.

Students were informed about the importance of the Hindi language. It was an enjoyable event where every word was spoken in Hindi and the participants enthralled the audience with their self-composed creations.

The Vice-Principal of the school Bijendra Singh was present and spoke few lines on the cleanliness and the importance of Hindi as a language.

A school teacher Sudha Basia said, “We keep sensitising the children from time to time. We thank the PHD and SDMC officials for participating in the event.”

Gomti Mattoo, School Section Officer, said, “It was a great initiative by the SDMC to aware children of dengue.”
