UP RERA team inspects Victoryone Central

Noida: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) survey team visited Victoryone Central, Sector 12, Greater Noida West on Tuesday. This is the second inspection done by UP RERA in society, the first one was done on August 27, in which the officials of RERA lashed out at the society's management after seeing the bad condition of the society.

This time, the inspecting team from UP RERA has asked the builder to give a timeline and submit it within one week, with all NOCs from various departments and OC from authority.

According to the residents, the society is still incomplete as there is an incomplete boundary wall, no parking, no second lift. The residents said that they are suffering because the builder was already issued an occupancy certificate years back despite incomplete work.

No boundary wall along the society.

The residents said that throughout the year, water keeps flowing from the ceiling and walls of the basement. They said that the problem is persistent and because of this, walls have also developed cracks. Over 200 residents reside in this society. They feel insecure because of the seepage as it is affecting the base of residential towers.

Ashish Parmar, a resident of the society, said, “The builder had given us possession in 2018 but till now we don’t have rainwater harvesting system which is a criterion for OC. There is seepage everywhere and waterlogging problems can be seen in all basements. The basement's electrical panel is at risk of a short circuit because of leakages. We hope that the situation will get better after UP RERA's inspection.”

Basements in a pathetic condition.
