Greater Noida: The residents of Panchsheel Greens 2, Sector 16, Greater Noida West have raised the issue of broken boundary walls of the society and leakage from the PNG pipeline of Indraprastha Gas Limited. Almost 1,500 families suffer from the recent leakage of gas pipelines.

They shared a tweet, “@Amitchudharybjp पंचशील ग्रीन्स 2 की मेंटेनेंस की लापरवाही की वजह से यहाँ के 1500 फ्लैट्स में रात से गैस की सप्लाई बंद है. इनकी 2 टावर के सामने की बाउंड्रीवाल जो पिछले 2.5 साल से टूटी हुई थी, कल की बारिश में बिलकुल ढह गई. अब इसका खामियाजा यहाँ की जनता भुगत रही है.”

Residents shared that they have been facing this issue for the last two years. The construction work of Ajnara Homes is going on besides the  Panchsheel Greens 2 society. Due to this, the strength of the boundary wall weakened and fell in the rainy season. According to the residents, the construction of the basement of Ajnara Homes is going on. It resulted in rainwater accumulation in the basement of Panchsheel Greens 2 society.

They shared that the IGL pipeline leaked due to the boundary wall collapse. It affected the residents for approximately 17 hours. around 1,500 families suffered from that.

Residents on the condition of anonymity shared that they have raised this issue in front of authority. The authorities came and inspected it. They wrote a letter to Ajnara Homes. Recently, IGL also sent an email to Ajnara that their construction work will hamper the gas pipelines. The maintenance team was not doing anything.

Ravi Sharma, a resident of the society said, “We have been facing this issue for the last two years. We have raised the issue in front of the authority as well. The authority wrote a letter to Ajnara Homes but no action was taken by them. IGL also sent an email to Ajnara Homes that it will hamper the pipeline and again no action was taken by them. We are also complaining about it in front of the maintenance team but they also neglect it. Who will be responsible for any mishap?”
