Noida: Rampant garbage dumping in drain in Sector 76

Noida: Residents of Sector 76, Noida raised the issue of garbage dumping in a drain in front of a park near Amrapali Princely and metro station.

They shared a tweet, “@noida_authority कृपया सेक् 76 अमरापाली  प्रिन्सेले से सटे पार्क के बाहर प्रवेश द्वार के पास से ये कचरा साफ करे  और पास की मार्कीट के लोगों पर जुर्माना तय करे जिससे कोई दोबारा कचरा  नाले में न डाले।”

The resident shared that there should be routine cleaning, not just eyewash once in a month work by the health department. According to them, this place looks like this all the time. The authority should take cognizance of this matter. Along with cleaning the drains from time to time, people will also have to understand.

Devender Singh Rathore, a resident of Sector 76 said, “This park is near sector 76 metro station. The condition of the drain is the same for many days. We have been complaining about it. Earlier, the drain was repaired but the condition is pathetic. The drain is at the entry of the park, it is very difficult for the residents to go in the park.”

He added, “There is a market nearby the park and the shop owners dump their waste into the drain. There is an open pee spot near the entry gate of the park.”

Another resident, Abhishek Kumar said, “The condition of that area is pathetic. People are doing pee near the entry gate of the park. We filed a complaint about it. We are also demanding a toilet for that area. It is very difficult for the residents to enter into the park.”
