Dwarka: Medical camp raises awareness on organ donation

About a hundred people attended a medical camp for eye check-up organised by Lioness Club Prerna District-321-A-3 in Pochanpur Village, Sector 23, Dwarka. The camp also raised awareness about organ donation.

“Lioness” Vineeta  Chhabra,  president of the club and a resident of Apna Villa Apartments, Sector 10, said, "We distributed forms for organ donation, which we had brought from AIIMS. People were quite curious about the subject. They have taken the forms. They seemed inspired and said that they would fill the forms." She added that more such activities would be organised in the coming weeks and months in Dwarka and other parts of West Delhi.

Club “lioness” Shashi Khatter, “lioness”  Neeru Jagga, “lioness” Shobha, “lioness” Madhuri  Aggarwal, club secretary and principal of Winners Public  School, and “lioness” Poonam  Chaudhary were also present at the camp.
