Dwarka: District administration and the resident bodies of Dwarka have joined hands to ensure vaccination of domestic helps in the societies. To provide them with a free vaccination facility, a mega vaccination camp is being organised at Sector 10 Ramlila Ground by the South West District administration. However, there is no limitation and anyone can get vaccine in the camp. The camp is being supported by resident bodies like All Dwarka Resident Federation(ADRF) and other RWAs of various societies in the city.
To make people aware about the camp a message was floated by the DM, Naveen Agrawall in which he wrote the date 10 October and venue Ramlila Ground Sector 10 . The message reads that in the camp would provide 1st and 2nd dose of Covishield and the second dose of Covaxin. He further added that multiple cases of not taking a second dose have come to knowledge, and requested the authorities to specifically focus on such cases.
DM appealed to the community in another message in Whatsapp groups of residents, “Please spread the word through your network so that Delhi is better equipped to fight this pandemic.” To support the vaccination camp and to promote it in the community for maximum vaccination, ADRF president Ajit Swami also spread messages to different groups of residents in Dwarka. He said, “This is our duty to make all domestic helps fully vaccinated. We have been making efforts as a resident body. I appeal to all the society's management’s and DDA locker’s RWAs to come forward and join hands together. They must ensure that the maids and other domestic helps working inside their societies would take the vaccine to fight against Covid.”
