Noida police raided House No E-9 in Sector 55 and found spurious liquor and certain chemicals required to make raw alcohol within the premises.
The police carried out the raid after it came to know that a liquor factory was illegally operating in the sector to make spurious liquor.
Police told City Spidey that five arrests had been made so far. It added that it found three trucks of raw liquor worth Rs 50 lakh.
Dinesh Yadav, SP City, Noida, said, “Investigation is under way. Police can’t reveal anything right now. It is still searching the place.”
When City Spidey contacted Gajendra Singh, the RWA president, he said, “The house was locked for a year. These people came into the house from the back and carried out their illegal activities. The RWA had no inkling about this.”
