The RWA of Sector 55, Noida, is going to release a circular for police verification of all vendors, maids and tenants in the sector.
A surprise raid on a house in the sector, which also functioned as a spurious liquor factory, has left the RWA worrying about the security of the residents.
Yesterday, Noida police recovered three trucks of raw liquor worth Rs 50 lakh during the raid. Surprisingly, the RWA had no idea about the tenants of the house.
So, the RWA now requires all house owners, who rent out their places, to provide details to the association, and also have a police verification done on the tenants.
Gajendra Singh, RWA president of Sector 55, told City Spidey, “We intend to help the police in this process. Also, a copy of the verification must also be submitted to the RWA office.”
