Rajouri Garden Market: A hub for shopaholics

Rajouri Garden Market is any fashionista's dream come true. Located just in front of the Rajouri Garden Metro Station, the market offers a wide range of quality apparel, footwear, bags and accessories shops, especially for women. If you are planning to buy a perfect dress for a wedding, this market is a win-win for all the ladies out there as we all are well aware that the festive season is here, and if you live near West Delhi, rush here for all your mandatory festive shopping.

Morning view of the Rajouri Garden market

It is often called a wedding market; the Rajouri Garden Main Market will spoil you with its unlimited offerings. Here you can find a mashup of both Indian and western outfits and designs, pleasing to just about anyone who likes to shop. From my personal experience, I love this market. It has everything one can ask; it's like a pitstop for all the shopaholics.

How can you reach here?

The nearest metro station for this market is Rajouri Garden Metro Station. You can also take auto or travel by your vehicle, parking is a slight issue here as you might have to wait for your turn as it is constantly buzzed with the crowd, so I would recommend commuting from the metro, just in front of the market.

Perfect stop for your Traditional wedding shopping

Various ethic clothing options

Rajouri garden market is a beloved market in West Delhi. Whether it's about clothes or accessories, I get everything at once without any hustle and bustle. Usually, the market is a little overcrowded in the evening and primarily busy during the wedding season and festive season.

Tiny shops here tucked in lanes of Rajouri Garden Market will amaze you with their craft items, elegant jewellery pieces available for rent and purchase, cloth pieces, and quirky footwear. Discover accessory havens such as soni sapphire, kamal jewellery, and many more to explore and shop. The market has everything to satisfy your shopping craving, from Perfection House, Meena Bazaar, Bombay Selections, Novelty and Shabad, selling many of the most prosperous designer saris, lehengas for the wedding season, and footwear havens like Stilettos, Kloves, Kinns, Stush and many more.

A range of home decor and funky articles

I like this market the most because it has a hybrid variety from huge showrooms to roadside vendors. There is this one rack or stand just in front of kinns where you will find quirky tops and trending nightsuits, and this is not the only spot there are multiple such shops to hop on.

It is also known as mini Sarojini Nagar for trendy and budget-friendly shopping.

To ease your Hunger

Many bakeries at Rajouri Market

After all the shopping and hopping here and there, I always rush to Gayway and Soni Bakers. These eateries serve the best of the savouries, and obviously, how can I forget about their bakery items? From brownies to their staple cookies and pastries are die for.

This market has a wide range of restaurants chains and fantastic street food items. One of the main attractions of this market is it is all times favourite Atul chaat corner, and if you are a true chaat lover just like me, then I am sure you will fall in love with gol gappas, tikki, pao bhaji and all the tangy chaats he has to offer. This place is always crowded with its customers whether it is afternoon or evening.

Popular street markets

Soni Bakers have a variety of momos that are drool-worthy. Their huge and perfectly round momos are delicious and comforting. Another gem for momos is Momos Hub just beside Atul Chaat Corner; you can eat tandoori and other fusion variety momos.

Baljeet Amritsari Naan is also quite famous food. His big and crunchy naans topped with butter and served with chole is truly a blessing. Just next to this place is Prem Di Hatti, you will find fantastic chole bhature there, soft and fluffy bhature are delicious. Both these eateries are located at the entrance of the market and are easy to identify. Gorge on some tasty corns or gol gappas and chaats from the roadside stalls if you wish to taste the capital's street food. Found just besides Rajouri Garden Metro Station, the market is a preferred precinct amongst shoppers.

Rajouri Garden is one of the most famous West Delhi markets. With street food, swanky bars, terracotta stores and Sarojini-Esque shops for affordable gems, this market's got it all. Therefore, I suggest dedicating an entire day to explore them.
