Noida: Sector 168 residents complain bad road

Noida: Residents of Noida, Sector 168 raised the issue of a bad road in front of Golden Palm, Paras Seasons and Sunworld Arista societies. Approximately more than a 500-meter-long stretch is broken.

They shared a tweet,

Residents shared that the road was constructed in 2014. After three years, the road got damaged and for the last one and a half years, it was not repaired. Commuters are facing difficulties in negotiating gravels that spill by the force of the vehicle. Strangers are facing a lot of difficulties during the rainy season.

Puneet, a resident of Paras Seasons said, “From the last one and a half years, we are waiting for the repair of the road. Commuters are facing a lot of difficulties. We have been complaining about this issue many times but the authority doesn’t listen to us.”

Tarun, a resident of Lotus Zing, Sector 168, Noida said, “The road connected to nearby Sector 135 was repaired 2-3 times but the Sector 168 roads remain in dilapidated condition. Many times it has caused harm to vehicles as well. We have been raising the issue in different forums. The work was still not taken by the Noida Authority. I request our constituency's MLA and Noida Authority to help in getting this work done on priority.”

Ganesh Dutt Pandey, a resident of Paras Seasons, said, “The condition of the road is very bad as of now. It's difficult to walk or use the vehicle. It is always a roller coaster ride on this road. When the entire Noida has good quality roads, it is intriguing why the road of Sector-168 is an exception. We have raised the issue many times through tweets or on Jansunwai app but still, we are waiting for resurfacing.”

Dipendra Chaudhary, a resident of Golden Palm, said, “I request the Noida authority to get the road repaired soon because people are facing many problems. There is dust pollution as well. People also fear accidents. This has been reported through Twitter but the people here are worried and they are just hoping that they will get rid of this problem soon.”
