Dwarka: Pleasant weather boosts fitness enthusiasts at Sector-11 park

Dwarka: The winter is about to hit us and the Dwarka citizens have finally got some relief from the sultry heat. Since the start of this week, running and walking at the Sector-11 DDA park have increased.

The park provides great avenues to fitness enthusiasts for performing heavy to light exercises. The strip has stones on its surface which exerts pressure on different points.

Sector-11 Park is probably the most widely known outdoor space in the neighbourhood whose vastness throngs people from all of Dwarka. The park has amenities like a jogging track, open gym, and children's play area, which makes it an alluring place for people of all ages.

It has a widespread green cover filled with trees and endemic species of birds that chirp musically in the background as you kickstart your mornings here.

Suman Tiwari, a resident of Dwarka Sector-19, said, “After a long time, we got rid of the scorching heat. We avoided going out during summer. My five-year-old son Rudra wanted to go for an outing. Since the weather was good, we decided to spend some time here and relax.”

Anil Kundra, a resident of IDC Apartments, Sector-11 and daily visitor of the park, said, “Yes, of course, this park is one of the best examples within Dwarka, managed with the participation of public and DDA Horticulture and electrical teams. We as regular visitors also own responsibility to communicate to government agencies for any kind of shortcomings, suggestions and improvements. We are the users and provide the feedback, and most important, respective agencies are acting swiftly and taking action on the ground. Really feel proud to be staying close to this Sector-11 DDA park.”
