Delhi University releases 3rd cut off list for admissions

New Delhi: Admission for the extremely sought-after Delhi University are underway, seeing soaring cut-off lists for undergraduate courses for yet another year. The 3rd cut-off list was released on Monday, October 18. The first day of admission under the 3rd cut-off list saw a slight dip in Cut off of nearly 0.25 to 1.5 percent for popular courses under science and humanities.

Most popular colleges of north campus under Delhi University such as Miranda House, Kirori Mal, Hindu and Ramjas that had a whopping 100 per cent cut-off for many courses have brought it down to 95-99 percent in various courses.

Courses such as BA (Hons) History, English, Economics, Sociology, Geography, BCom and BSc Physics still require marks above 95 per cent. Moreover, admissions for certain courses have been closed in the top colleges.

7,992 applications were approved on the first day of admission of the third cut-off. The admissions will take place till October 21 and the last date to pay the fees is October 23. A special cut-off will be released on October 25 followed by two more cut-offs for the remaining seats.
