GreNo: Golf Link 1 residents meet MLA to raise water issues

The RWA of Golf link 1 Society met Dadri MLA Tejpal Nagar on Sunday. Apart from RWA President Dharmendra Kataria and General Secretary KPS Teotia, other officials and dignitaries of RWA Golf Link-1 were also present. The RWA apprised the MLA about the problems of the colony. RWA put forward its demand for providing water connection to Golf Link 1 colony by the authority. RWA President Dharmendra Kataria, while referring to the 'Nal Se Jal' scheme run by the Prime Minister, while the Golf Link 1 colony is still struggling to get that connection.

Kapil Tyagi, a resident of the society, said, “The MLA assured to place this demand before the authority on October 26. The RWA also demanded a fair inquiry from the committee constituted by the authority. The residents of Golf Link-1 are continuously raising the demand for the colony to be acquired by the authority but the authority is keeping silent on their legitimate demand. Also, the water supply we get is contaminated and we raised that issue as well.”
