Dwarka: The signals at Peepal Chowk (sector 14/17 junction near Peepal Apartments) have become completely visible now as the overgrown branches of the tree there have been pruned. Now the green signals are clearly visible. Earlier, one of the directions of the two green signals was hidden behind the overgrown tree creating confusion for the commuters.
CitySpidey had highlighted the subject recently and shared it in the groups of presidents and officials. The residents too had shared the status through the news link with the officials. Thereafter, immediate action was taken and pruning was done, making the signals clearly visible.
President of Dwarka Forum, Sushil Kumar said on the issue of hidden signals, “Across Dwarka there are many such signals which get hidden behind the overgrown branches of the trees there. DDA also prunes them but pruning must be done periodically at least for those signals. This is a prompt and effective work as the particular signal was made clear by pruning. I appreciate the work of DDA from the side of Dwarka Forum and hope they will continue it in future as well.”
