DPC organises 'Sankalp Rally' to go-plastic free

Dwarka: Dwarka Progressive Club organized a 'sankalp cycle rally' on October 31 with the aim of 'plastic-free India'. The rally started at 8 a.m. The meeting point of the rally was Aashirwad Chowk, Sector 12 and the end point was Senior Citizen Park opposite Sector-6 market. Bikers, cyclists and joggers from across Dwarka participated in the initiative.

Earlier as well, a cleanliness drive was organised in Studio Apartments, Sector 16, Dwarka under the same initiative. Studio Apartment's RWA and Dwarka Progressive Club had been holding such awareness campaigns since October 2 till October 31, 2021.

Urmila Sharma, President of Dwarka Progressive Club, said, “On the auspicious occasion of the birthday of Late Iron Man Vallabhbhai Patel, all the riders who participated in the sankalp rally under the Swachh Bharat Mission move towards achieving the goal of plastic-free India on behalf of Dwarka Progressive Club. I welcome and thank them on behalf of the entire team.
