On the occasion of Diwali, the residents of Supertech Ecovillage- 2, Greater Noida west organised a Deepotsav event. Women of the society led the event. The spirit of togetherness among the residents made the celebration memorable.
Residents made a rangoli and wrote the society's name with 2000 diyas. Residents shared that the whole society was present there. Approximately, 3000 residents live in the society.
Jyoti Jaiswal, a resident of the society said, "This event was not planned. Earlier, I saw a picture of a random society where the preparations were going on. I and a few of the women in the society planned this just a day before. Most of the residents were busy, but we tried our best. Approximately, 2000 deepak with 12 liter oil were lighting up. During the night, the whole society was together and it was a moment of happiness."
Mihir Gautam, a resident of the society said, "This festival is the significance of happiness and prosperity. Women of the society lead this event one day before. Residents of the society also gather at the society's temple. It was a very happy moment."
Another resident, Anupam Mishra said, "All.the residents were present there. With 2000 diyas, residents wrote the name of our society. Approximately, 3000 residents were present in the society. Yesterday night was a very moment."
