Ghaziabad: The residents of Andromida Planet One Society located in Koyal Enclave are protesting against builders for the pollution in water. As per the residents, dur to the contaminated water, the people are facing many diseases like indigestion, skin diseases and joint pain. The residents of the society closed the main gate of the society on Sunday and staged a symbolic protest against the builder. Residents urged a strict action on this issue from officials. They also warned that if their voice gets ignored then they will go on hunger strike.

Jagdish Sharma, one of the residents said, “The TDS of water provided by the builder is 4000. There is no RO which can purify such polluted water. The level of salt in the water is also very high. Utensils and iron pipes are getting rusted and degraded because of the water. People are suffering from stomach problems, skin disease, joint pain and other such diseases due to this water.”

People demanded to provide pure water and lodged a complaint to Tulsi Niketan outpost in-charge. They also submitted a letter in the name of Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh and District Magistrate, Ghaziabad.
