Arihant Ambar residents raise a stink over garbage dumping

Greater Noida: Residents of Arihant Ambar, Sector 1, Greater Noida, raised the issue of garbage dumping in front of neighbouring AIG Royal society. This is creating unsanitary conditions for both societies as they are adjacent to each other. Arihant Ambar residents say that AIG Royal is under construction and only a few families live there.

Residents shared that garbage is increasing day by day. Neither the builder is cleaning nor the authority. Residents are afraid that if not stopped, the place will turn into a permanent spot for garbage dumping. Moreover, there is an open drain that is blocked. They alleged that the garbage is being dumped by the builder of AIG  Royals.

One of the residents shared a tweet,

Ambar Welfare Group shared that “How can we claim to become a smart city when we have to take support of tweets to get this job done which should have been done by authorities themselves?! This needs immediate resolution, else this may be a breeding ground for diseases. Also, it does not look nice to see waste in front of the society gate.”

Purushotam Sati, a resident of Arihant Ambar society said, “We have been complaining regarding this for the last three months, but no action was taken by the authority or the builder. The staff member of  AIG Royals throws their waste here. The Authorities should take action as soon as possible.”

Another resident Tushar said, “AIG Royal is our neighbouring building which is under construction. The society's staff members have been dumping the construction waste and garbage there for the last three months. Along with that, there is an open drain that has been blocked because of the garbage. This may cause diseases to spread.”
