Chhath Ghats are being prepared to celebrate the festival on 10 and 11 November 2021. One of the largest celebrations of the puja will be held at Sector 11 by Dwarka Social Religious and Cultural Association, and Dada Dev Mela Ground by Palam Chhath Puja Committee in sector 8. At Dabri mor, Bharat Vihar, Kakrola etc and other places, Chhath Ghats are being prepared to celebrate the festival.
Cleaning and repairing of the ghats have already been completed and now the decoration and other facilities are being done for the devotees. At some places, the number of ghats have increased as a result of the increased number of devotees every year. This year’s celebration of Chhath in community groups is special as the celebration did not happen due to the Covid pandemic in 2020.
City Spidey visited one of the biggest ghats in Dwarka being prepared for Chhath in Sector 11. Tomorrow, on 10 November, devotees would pay offerings to Sun God in the evening and on 11 November, they would pay the offerings to Sun God in the early morning.
