Greater Noida: The ongoing celebrations of Chhath Puja are in full swing in the public pond behind Cherry County, Techzone 4, Greater Noida. All the preparations were done by the members of Purvanchal and Pravasi Ekta Manch. About 200 Chhath vratees and their families from different societies are part of this event.
In a talk with CitySpidey, devotees shared that every river is polluted. Pictures of vratis between poisonous foam in Yamuna river have gone viral. Thus, they are celebrating Chhath Puja in this pond as it has clean water. The celebrations are being done with adherence to Vivid guidelines.
Abhishek Kumar, NEFOWA President said, “I would like to thank residents of Greater Noida and Greater Noida Authority for making this event successful. All the members of Purvanchal and Pravasi Ekta Manch are engaged in making this festival beautiful."
