Ghaziabad to receive first-ever multi-level parking soon

Ghaziabad: A 41.43 crore budget has been passed by the government to build a multi-level parking facility near New Bus Adda Metro station. This will be the city's first multi-storey government parking.

Earlier, this parking was planned to be made in Ambedkar Park located in Navyug Market, but some controversy arose about this in that region. After the dispute escalated, the Municipal Corporation had to change the location.

CitySpidey talked to Sanjiv Kumar, street light and traffic in charge. He said, “The government has approved the Detail Project Report of this parking. Now, it has been sent to the Finance Department. The approval is expected soon.”

Abhilash, parking in charge of the New Bus Adda metro Station said.“This parking facility will help in managing the parking of Old bus adda, New Bus adda Metro, Arthala, Ghanta Ghar and Gandhi market region. This will also decrease the traffic in these areas.”

A resident, Ratnesh while talking about this development said, “We hear such news every other day but nothing happens on the ground. Let's hope this time we will see this parking soon.”
