Dwarka: In order to keep pollution levels in check, Pankaj Rai Gupta, SDM, South West District and Ajit Swami, President of All Dwarka Residents Federation President distributed heaters to the security personnel in the societies of Dwarka.
All Dwarka Residents Federation requested all the society RWAs of Dwarka to provide heaters to all their security personnel so that they don't have to burn wood at night.
Ajit Swami said, "Let's all cooperate in reducing pollution. ADRF has started this campaign to make public aware and we have collaborated with SDM, South West District for the same. We request all other RWAs to also contribute to the campaign as much as possible."
Aman Bhandari, an executive member of ADRF, said, "Providing electric heaters to security guards so they don't have to burn wood on chilly nights, which sees a spike as winters intensify in the city, is a very timely welcome move. This is also relevant in the context of current AQI levels."
