On Saturday 13 November, on the eve of Children’s day, the MBRWA, in coordination with Ms Asha Puri, children and volunteers of Dr Raj’s Fun School, organised a remembrance meet for Punam Puri, the school's founder to whom the cause of environmental protection was very dear. The event took place in Trikona Park, with the children making posters on the theme of "Clean and Healthy environment"
The meeting was attended by the M Block residents and ably conducted by the MBRWA President Gudiya Gupta and Mrs Ritika Sahni. The meeting concluded with a moving rendition of ‘We Shall Overcome’ and snacks.
President Gudiya Gupta said, “Pure & clean environment is the key to healthy living and it’s our responsibility to train & guide our youth towards a better future. Thus we should leave no stone unturned in encouraging our children towards a safer, healthier & a pollution-free tomorrow.”
As it was a successful event, where children participated and enjoyed the initiative organised by Ms Gudiya, President MBRWA
