Dwarka: From a distance, it is an ordinary day at Sector Shahjahanabad Apartments Sector 11, Dwarka. But the peace of this ordinary-looking day can get shattered at any moment. The threat to this prevailing calm looms in the form of a Sheesham tree which is inclining dangerously to one side. The tree in question is located on the divider of road number 202 right in front of Sector Shahjahanabad Apartments. This is the main road and remains busy with fast-moving traffic throughout the day. It is obvious to the plain eye how the tree is inclined toward the road overlapping almost half of the width.
Upon close observation, it was found that the roots and stem of the tree were infested with termites. Thus, making it weaker. The tree is inclined at such an angle that it could fall at any time. One fears to imagine what would happen if it does fall on the road while cars are still passing.
