Best Dressed Celebrities from American Music Awards 2021

The awards, which took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, recognised the greatest music from upcoming and veteran artists in the industry, spanning genres from country to R&B.

Cardi B, Olivia Rodrigo, and Larray were among the celebrities who embraced the post-lockdown return to glamour at the American Music Awards red carpet on 21st November 2021, which featured plenty of sequins, glimpses of skin, and slick tailoring.

From thigh-hight to crystal hoods, here are the best-dressed celebrities at the AMA red carpet:

BTS

Our favourite boy band BTS wore Louis Vuitton's Men's Spring-Summer 2022 collection of grey and black pantsuits. With his bright red hair, Suga astounded the ARMY. He was dressed in a grey suit with a front tie and brilliant crimson hair for the first time. Jin and Jimin looked dashing in black formal attire with white and pink blouses, while RM sported a grey suit. J-Hope, too, looked amusing in his grey suit, which he paired with a blue shirt and tie.

Halle Bailey

With her lace-up dress, Halle Bailey went for a sexier, more extreme style. The singer and star of the upcoming live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid arrived at the award event in a brown velvet LaQuan Smith gown from the designer's SS21 collection, and she dropped jaws. Her thigh-high slit with long sleeves looked way too classy.

Winnie Harlow

The 27-year-old supermodel wore a Zuhair Murad sheer jewelled short dress on the red carpet. Harlow's gown was encrusted with crystals and exquisite beads. The couture gown had a halter-style neckline and an open back. Harlow wore her golden locks in a loose high bun with curls framing her face, opting for neutral makeup. She completed the blinged-out ensemble with a studded headband and gold strap heels.

Olivia Rodrigo

David Koma's sequined lilac halter gown, complete with a feathery bottom, was worn by the 18-year-old Olivia Rodrigo. The talented singer wore high-waisted briefs and silver heels underneath her dress, which was partly see-through. Her glam look was enhanced with delicate waves in her long brunette hair and natural makeup. The soft lilac colour looked adorable on her.

Jojo

Jojo stepped out of her comfort zone and wore something different from her staple style. Sporting a stylish black off-the-shoulder gown with sheer panels along the length of the tulle skirt JoJo completed her elegant ensemble by braiding and pulling back the front strands of her golden hair.

Larray

Larray picked flower designs, wearing a highly contrasting Marni suit and a gentler rose-printed Gucci one matched with red stages, individually. The bell bottoms looked amazing, paired with red boots.

Cardi-b

Cardi B wore a white gown with a bejewelled hood and a thigh-high leg cut to finish her night of hosting in style. Her darling white gown was one of the best looks amongst her other looks from the AMA 2021. The outline of the crystals around the hood looked exceptional.
