Uncovered manhole: A source of danger!

Dwarka: While walking on a footpath from Dwarka Sector 14 Metro Station or from Vegas Mall, Sector 14, towards Sector 17 (near the roundabout at the turn towards Sector 17), you will come across an uncovered manhole in the middle of the footpath. The footpath in question is built over a drain and the open manhole is located right in the middle of it. The open manhole is difficult to spot even when the streetlights are on. When it is dark, the manhole is a clear danger to pedestrians. According to nearby residents and pedestrians, the particular manhole has been in such state for a long time.
