Gurgaon: On November 28th Residents of Sector 69/70/70A Gurgaon participated in  Raahgiri. The event took place from 7:30 to 10:30 am. Around 10,000 people participated in the event organised at Tulip Chowk on a dedicated 1.7 km long stretch of road. Adults and children alike flooded the streets, enjoying all sorts of activities including cycling, exercising, Zumba, skits, ludo and even street sports such as tug of war.

The event was organised by the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, the  Gurugram Traffic Police, Raahgiri Foundation, World Resources Institute India, and the Residents of sector 69/70/70A. For the first time, three different stages for activities and performances were set up. The activities included dance performances, singing, dancing, a flash mob, and even a talk on waste management. There was yoga hosted for senior citizens, a stall set up for people to do Karate. There was a zone specifically for children to draw. There was a large group of children skating too. As always, Zumba,  one of Raahgiri’s most beloved activities, was performed on one of the stages with people from all age groups participating.
