Residents of Home 121 raise concern over the poor state of the green belt

Noida: Residents of Homes 121, Sector 121, Noida raised the issue of the poor  state of the green belt along with their society. The boundary walls  are broken, due to which stray animals enter in the green belt and destroy the plants. Residents are saying that the condition of the green belt has been deteriorating for last two three months. Chakradhar Mishra (40), AOA president of  the Home 121 society says, “I visit the green belt everyday and have seen the pathetic state of the area. We have  raised our  concern in the authority and waiting for their act on this.”

CitySpidey visited the green belt and found that vegetation in the green belt was  also damaged. Some of the plants were in uprooted state. Due to such state, residents are facing  difficulties using the green belt. They face problem while walking on the uneven and damaged track. Another regular visiter to the green belt, Dinesh Singh(40), says, “For the last one year, we  have been complaining time and again about this in the authority. It took more than 5  years to build this green belt and now, it is lacking in maintenance. The residents of our society took care of it. This is the property of authority and they should take care of it, however, it is neglected by them.”

On the subject, Singh also raised his concern on Twitter. He shared the link of his post which says, “Gate तोड़  दिया गया बाउंड्री वॉल हटा दी गई फुटपाथ को तोड़ दिया गया है चलने वाले  जो रास्ते बने थे वहां पर पंप रखे हुए हैं कोई कार्यवाही नहीं हो रही है  क्या नोएडा अथॉरिटी आंख बंद कर लिया है कि कुछ भी होगा कोई कार्यवाही  नहीं करनी है सिर्फ ट्विटर पर शिकायत बंद कर देनी है गलत फोटो” https://twitter.com/DineshSAmethi/status/1466640869079928833?s=20

Green Volunteers Foundation also tweeted, “मेरा अनुरोध है कुछ  कार्यवाही की जाए सिर्फ संज्ञान लिया जाए पर कहने से कोई बात नहीं  बनेगी  पेड़ पौधों को भयानक नुकसान हो रहा है जो पिछले चार-पांच साल की मेहनत के  बाद तैयार हुए हैं पौधे पर पानी सोसाइटी की तरफ से डलवाया जाता है और अब  जानवर उसको खा जा रहे हैं हद है लापरवाही की I”
