Greater Noida: The Greater Noida Authority is going to develop a trucker's point at the Sirsa entrance. The work for the same has started as the project design and estimates are ready. The trucker's point will be equipped for parking 100 trucks simultaneously. The cost of this project is estimated at around Rs 2.5 crores.

As per a GNIDA official, CEO, Narendra Bhusan had visited the site a few months ago and gave instructions to the officials concerned to create a trucker's point at the site. The facility is meant for truckers coming from Sirsa entrance to Greater Noida via Eastern Peripheral Expressway. On his instructions, the Horticulture Department started the work of making the site green. The sides of the entrance of the site have been widened and adorned with  Bouganvillia and Ashoka trees.

CEO Narendra Bhushan visited the site again on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. He has also approved the project design and estimate of the project. At Truckers Point, along with parking for about 100 trucks, a temporary Dhaba and 10 kiosks, accessible toilets, seat platforms, and trees will also be planted in the green belt. A step-like planter will also be built on the other side of the road, with an aim to increase the aesthetics of the place.
