Dwarka: ‘Mission Vistar’, a community policing initiative

Dwarka: To ensure a safe and secure environment in Dwrakasubcity the local Dwarka police have decided to focus on community policing. While addressing the community people and media today, Shankar Chaudhary, DCP Dwarka said, “Community policing on priority will be done in Dwarka from January". The DCP pointed that from January 2022, he will himself reach out to the community people and would listen to their problems and empower them as a significant part of community policing.

He further added, " I have to make it clear that people need not come to authority, the authority will meet them. This will be done at every level, from a beat constable to the DCP. We will start Mission Vistar which is based on the concept of ‘Vistar-Kaptan Aapke Dwaar’, an initiative to strengthen community-police bonding and policing.”
