Greater Noida: The joint campaign of Greater Noida Authority and National Skill Development Corporation is now starting to pay off. 36 students have gotten jobs as soon as they completed their training from the Skill Development Center located at Government Primary Mubarikpur, Greater Noida. With the joint initiative of the Greater Noida Authority and National Skill Development Corporation, the first skill development centers were opened on 27 July 2021 at Tradex Tower, Sector Alpha One and Mubarikpur (Surajpur) itself.

140 students enrolled in the first batch from Mubarikpur, near Government Primary School. They got three months' training in the telecom trade. Of these 140 students, 55 had applied for placements, out of which 36 students got jobs. Most of these students are from Gautam Budh Nagar. At the same time, preparations are being made to start two more centers soon. For the first time, on the instructions of the CEO of Greater Noida Authority, Narendra Bhushan, the Skill Development Department was also formed to provide training to the youth in coordination with the National Skill Development Corporation.

Narendra Bhushan, CEO, Greater Noida Authority, says, “Skill development centers have been opened to provide employment to the youth. It is a matter of great pleasure that most of the children of the first batch have got employment. On one hand, the youth are getting employment and on the other hand, industries are getting skilled workers according to their needs”.
