'Kapoor and sons' fame director Shakun Batra has come up with a new film, starring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ananya Panday. 'Gehraiyaan', his new venture, will be available on Amazon Prime Video on January 25th. Thanks to Deepika, who took to Instagram, we got a sneak peek of the movie. She captioned it "piece of my heart," revealing that the film will be available on Prime Video.
Ananya also shared a teaser of the film, writing, "It's time to dive in a little deeper." "They say you leave pieces of yourself in everything you love," Siddhant wrote. "Perhaps you'll find my heart here."
The teaser started with glimpses of a knock at Deepika Padukone's door, who sees Siddhant Chaturvedi on the other side. Then, the Gehraiyaan soothing song starts playing. A few seconds later, we get a glimpse of Dhairya Karwa and Ananya Panday.

By the first look of the teaser, the audience could notice the depths of this seemingly deep romance. The sentiments in the teaser are echoed in the title track playing in the background throughout the entire teaser.
The teaser of Gehraiyaan seems to be brimming with sorrow as all the characters in the film search for love and true happiness. The plot promises to be different from the typical love stories; there is no loud music, no traditional marriage or other related drama. The teaser of Gehraiyaan is sufficed with melancholy, adulthood, and a maze of feelings.
It may show a mirror to many as it can easily be related to the 21st century complicated relations of adulthood. However, one thing is clear, it promises to be a tale of love and the complications that come with it.
On January 25, Gehraiyaan will be available on Amazon Prime Video. The film, which also stars Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapoor in pivotal roles, was co-produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Shakun Batra's Jouska Films. Shakun's third feature film follows Ek Main Ekk Tu (2012) and Kapoor & Sons (2013). (2016).
