Greater Noida: Seepage in the basement has left the residents of Shri Radha Sky Garden, Greater Noida worried. The issue is not new in the housing society. For the last three years, residents have been complaining about seepage of sewage water from the pipes in the basement. Due to this, the basement parking is not open for the residents.
Earlier on October 2, 2021, an incident of short circuit due to seepage water took place in the basement, which further led to a fire. Residents shared that seepage from the joint pipes is a major issue. The pillars of the basement are becoming weak due to regular seepage. It will also affect the structure. Residents have raised this issue in front of the builder and the maintenance team but no action has been taken so far.
Residents also shared that they started living in the society in 2018. Although, while taking possession, they paid about 3 lakhs for the basement parking to the builder. Still, the builder hasn't handed over the parking to the respective residents.
