Noida Sector 137 to get a park, exclusively for dogs

Noida: Dog owners in Noida City will soon be able to take their pets for a walk in a park especially dedicated for them. Noida is soon to get a dog park with facilities like a clinic, play zone, accessories shop and more in Sector 137. Dog parents living in Noida are very happy with this news. They further said that this designated dog park will be a blessing to all dog lovers and their owners.

Sanjay Sabikhi, a resident of Sector 50, says, “I have a Pug and his name is Oscar. A dog park is a good initiative. It would have been great if that initiative could be followed in our nearby locality also. The Authority should replicate this idea somewhere here also. A designated park for dogs will make a lovely environment for dogs as well as their parents”.

Kunal dey, a resident of Sector 50, says, “My dog’s name is Brownie and a very lovable dog. We are happy that now there will be a designated place for the dogs. They can play and make friends. But since it is far from our area, we won’t be able to come to this park and we will prefer our nearest park”.

Himanshu Agarwal, a resident of Paramount Floraville society, Sector  137, says, “We have many parks in Sector 137. There are two Noida  Authority’s parks that have open gym facilities. There is a  biodiversity park which is in Sector 91 but it is closest to Sector  137 so residents use it. Mostly in our area people who have pets take their dogs on the roadside for morning walks and sometimes use parks.  Now I think they will love to take them in their park”.

Some residents have some misgivings about this new development. Sugandha Sharan, a resident of Noida, says, “I have two Shih Tzu. I feel this is a great initiative. It's great these dogs will be able to roam freely without any restrictions. They can make friends and also can share a great bond. However, I also feel that this should not become an excuse for those who don’t have pets to say that now you should not bring dogs to the local parks. They are still allowed to access local parks. Since it's not easy for everyone to come to this dog park”.

After the release of this dog park initiative, most people favored this news however, the resident of Sector 137 who demand parks in their locality said that they don’t have any local parks. So the authorities should work on it too.
