The total number of omicron cases in India has reached 415, as per the report of the Health Ministry. They added at least 115 have recovered. The highest 108 cases are recorded in Maharashtra followed by Delhi 79, Gujarat 43, Telangana 38 and Tamil Nadu 34.
With this total number of cases of coronavirus in India has come to 77,032. Due to rising cases government is also heading towards more restrictions and confirming major safety measures.
The Maharashtra State Government has imposed a restriction on the gathering of 5 or more people between 9 pm to 6 am. Haryana and Delhi have also tightened restrictions this winter festive season though Delhi has allowed places of worship to remain open.
