Issue of low water pressure in sector 2 to be resolved soon

On December 29, 2021, the Water Department of Noida on the instruction of ACEO of Noida Authority, inspected blocks C and D of Sector 2 to resolve the issue of low water pressure in the area. They have promised that the issue will be resolved in a month.

The residents of the C and D block of Sector 2, Greater Noida West had raised the issue of low water pressure at a public hearing held at Greater Noida Authority’s site office on December 29, 2021. Thereafter, ACEO Amandeep Dulli instructed Water Department for an immediate inspection.

After inspection, the Water Department headed by senior manager Kapil Dev Singh said that work on laying the water line from the tank of these two blocks has started. After the construction, the problem of the low water pressure will be resolved.

Kapil Dev, Senior Manager, Water Department, Greater Noida Authority says, “The work to strengthen the water pressure is going on, most probably it will be resolved by the end of January.” ACEO also appealed to the people of the sector to make sure there is no wastage of water.

Moreover, during the hearing, the NEFOWA team demanded the opening of a base camp for an Aadhar making centre in Greater Noida West and the removal of the illegal shops around Gaur City. The ACEO has assured that action will be taken soon against illegal shops.
