Dwarka Roads need some well-meaning attention from DDA

The Dwarka is known for its broad and a well laid out roads network. But today the roads in the subcity are crying for some well-meaning attention from the civic agencies. The road leading from Dwarka Sector 21 metro station, towards Sector 21 and on to Gurugram, is in very poor condition. There is a big pothole in the middle of the road, which forces the vehicles to slow down to a very low speed lest they get damaged.

Roads damaged by potholes, broken drain covers and infested with garbage have become an everyday problem for the commuters and pedestrians in Dwarka Sector 21. Sections of poor roads are also seen near the metro station lane of Sector 10 (in front gate number 1), the road along with Dwarka sector 11 station, the road in sector 12 has several patches of broken roads and sector 3 road near NSIT.

Ankit Sharma, a commuter, said, "This is indeed disappointing! While there are so many agencies working on different aspects of infrastructure maintenance, nobody has bothered to repair roads in Dwarka 21. These are indeed very busy roads which see huge vehicular traffic throughout the day."
Himanshu Kumar, a resident from Park royal residency, Sector 21, while talking to CitySpidey said, "Garbage on the roads and services lines has become a big issue too."

CitySpidey tried contacting DDA officials with the same but couldn't reach them.
