GreNo: In view of the increasing industrial investment in Greater Noida, the authority is developing eight new industrial sectors. The Industrial sector 8 and sector 10, Ecotech, Greater Noida, will soon get all the basic facilities like electricity, water, sewer, street lights. About Rs 5.21 crore is estimated to be spent on electricity works. The Greater Noida Authority has already floated tenders for water and sewage in these two sectors. Now tenders have also been floated for electricity and street lights.
Sector 8 and 10 are being developed first. Land has been allotted to more than 100 entrepreneurs in these two sectors.
It is the intention of the authority that the basic facilities should be developed in the sector before the possession. On the instructions of Greater Noida Authority CEO Narendra Bhushan, the Project Department has floated tenders for 31 works. It is estimated that about Rs 40 crores will be spent in getting these works done.
AK Arora, General Manager (Projects) of the Authority says, "Rs 5.21 crore is estimated to be spent on developing power infrastructure in Sector 8 and 10. For this work, contractors can apply online till January 13. The pre-qualification bids will open on January 17. After that the financial bid will be opened."
