A visual walk down Paharganj, Delhi's vibrant nighbourhood

Paharganj is a culture cauldron in the heart of New Delhi, where people not only from India but the whole world meet and share their lives. It is a mere 10 minutes walking distance from the upmarket Connaught Place but still, it is a world apart. Restaurants offering Mediterranean and Israeli cuisine, budget hotels for the middle class, traditional street food such as jalebi and chhole bhature, clothes with an international fashion feel, a travelers den and a middle-class shopping area, Paharganj offers so much to so many. The market has lost some of its sheen in this Covid era due to the absence of a largely young foreign travelers community but it still draws a lot of Delhiites.
