GreNo Authority floats tender for development work worth 40 crores

The Greater Noida Authority has issued tenders worth Rs 40 crore for 18 development work in the city on January 7, 2022. These will include works related to the re-surfacing of parks, green belts of Sector 2 and roads of Sector 3.

AK Arora, General Manager, Greater Noida Authority says, "Under the project, the parks of pocket A, B, C, D, E and F of Sector 2, the green belt will be developed. About 4.21 crore will be spent on these works."

He further adds, "Similarly, the work of resurfacing of the roads of D pocket of Sector 3 is to be done where about 2.71 crores of will be spent."

As gathered by the general manager, the pre-qualification bids will open on January 24 and that applications for these works can be made till January 20, 2022.

Apart from this, a total of 18 development works are to be done including the development of residential plots of Junpat, Badalpur and Ghodi Bachheda villages, installation of synthetic athletic track at Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Stadium, maintenance of road from Kasna to Sirsa and Kasna to Gharbra. Moreover, gyms will also be made across sectors in Greater Noida. Nearly 40 crores will be spent on these projects.

On this subject, A.K. Arora says that after completing the tender process, efforts will be made to get these works done soon.
