Amidst declining number of Covid-19 cases in the capital, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has revised certain Covid-19 guidelines on January 21, 2022.

According to the new guidelines, All private offices are allowed to function with 50 per cent capacity by following strict Covid-19 protocols and following the work from home culture to ensure social distancing.

Night curfew will continue to be imposed from 10 pm to 5 am every day and a weekend curfew from 10 pm of Friday till 5 am of Monday, shall remain in force in the territory of NCT of Delhi, until further orders.

Apart from this, here are the additional guidelines and prohibitions declared on January 21, 2022:

Restaurants and bars will remain closed across Delhi. Only online delivery services are permitted.

Private offices have been relaxed to function at 50% capacity. Earlier  there was 100% work-from-home till now. However, these offices must be  situated outside containment zones, according to DDMA. Furthermore, private firms have been directed to manage work timings  and the presence of employees at the same time in order to ensure  social distancing at the workplace.

Markets to open on an odd-even basis until further notice.

Cinemas, theatres, spas and gyms will continue to be shut.

All educational institutions, including schools, colleges and universities, will remain closed till further orders.

Shops in markets, market complexes and malls are allowed to run on an odd-even basis between 10 am and 8 pm. Only one authorised weekly market can function with an upper limit of 50% vendors at a time.

Delhi Metro and buses can continue to run only at full seating capacity with no standing passenger.
