Greater Noida: The Public Health Department of the Greater Noida Authority has imposed a fine of Rs 20,400 on Royal Court, Sector-16, Greater Noida, for not managing the waste generated properly. The Authority has directed the builder to deposit this amount within three working days.

Solid Waste Rules 2016 are applicable in all sectors of Greater Noida by the Authority. According to this, all bulk waste generators that are housing societies, have to manage the waste disposal on their own. Authority will only pick up the inert waste. The public health department team of the authority inspects the site of all the bulk waste generators.

The Public Health Department of Authority inspected the Royal Court Society the morning of February 17, 2022, and found out that the waste of the society was not being properly managed. following this, the Authority has thus imposed a fine of Rs 20,400.

Senior Manager of Public Health Department, GreNo Authority Salil Yadav says that the Authority will continue to take action against all the bulk waste generators who do not manage the garbage. CEO of Greater Noida Authority, Narendra Bhushan has appealed to all Greater Noida residents to cooperate in keeping the city clean.

Cityspidey talked to a resident of the society, he says, “This is not the first time that Greater Noida Authority has imposed a fine on the builder. However, as a resident, I have never faced any problems on the subject of waste management. The residents of the society don’t know what is going on inside the bulk waste management room.”
